Saturday, March 24 was Opening Day for Tennyson Little League. Trevor is on the Devil Rays Tee ball team. The uniforms are so big on all the kids, but they look great.
After we set up our Booth the parents wanted to take a team picture, but one little girl decided she need to be in the team photo as well.
Dad had to come and remove her from the picture. She just laughed at Mom when she said to move out of the way so we could get the team.
Now, minus the girl in Pink, here are the Tennyson American Little League Devil Rays.
Trevor's team got to lead off the parade of players. Sean is one of the dads helping the coach this season and felt very privileged to carry the banner with another Dad Coach.
Here they are as they line up in the outfield waiting to be announced. They kids had so much fun so far and all they did was walk from the parking lot around the baseball fields to the outfield.
Trevor is number 9. As the Coach announced each player and they ran under the Team Banner their hats would fall off. It was a funny thing to watch as it happened over and over again. The 2
nd team to be announced just had the players run around the banner. Not as cute or funny though.
Here is Trevor with his best buddy, Nick. They are in the same class at school and now on the same team. The night Trevor found out which team he was on, he told us that he prayed that God would allow Nick to be on his team as well. The next day after school when he found out that Nick was on his team he was so thankful. It was a sweet thing to see.
