Another injury. On Sunday Night Hayley did not want to go to bed, so she kept coming out of her room with various excuses. The one that worked was that she had to use the restroom. When I grabbed her left hand to guide her through the door way I did not know that she kept her hand on the inside door knob. AS we walked out of the room the door moved forward, quickly, and hit her just below the right eye. It immediately bled and bruised, but she did not cry for long. We went to the freezer and got a frozen ketchup pack to put on the cut/bruise. I asked why she held the door knob and she said, "I don't know, but I will let go next time." Smart girl.

Now move forward 2 days to Tuesday, April 29.
We have decided that we need to put Little Miss Hayley in a BUBBLE.
Today she ran towards the bathroom, tripped over the entry and went fell head first into the front of the bath tub. Sean checked her out and no worries except that she received a HUGE knot on her forehead. It is about the size of a golf ball and has started to turn colors. The top picture shows the bruise that has started and the bottom picture shows the size of the knot. I would imagine that tomorrow it will look worse. She says it only hurts when she touches it. So we have done what every responsible parent would do, we got a picture of the injury for future reference (when she becomes a stunt woman) and told her, "stop touching it." She is a sweet girl, but sometimes makes your heart jump with how she is not so graceful.
