The Fat Lip and ER visit...

Hayley did not listen when we told her to sit still last weekend and slipped off her chair. When she did she hit her chin so hard on the table that her top teeth cut the outside of the bottom lip and the lower teeth cut the inside of her lip. It appeared to be cut all the way through and with the look of the cut on the outside we decided to take her to the ER. It was not a busy night at all as we found a parking spot in the actual lot and did not have to park across and down the street. We saw the triage nurse who had us go to the minor injury clinic. The doctor saw the cut and while it was a good size cut said it was not a through and through cut and said just watch it for the next few days. By the next day all she had was a little cut and a big fat lip. Although this picture is not the best it does show her fat lip. She is a very tough girl and bounces back from injury quick.
