We celebrated Hayley's 4
th Birthday on Saturday, Sept. 13 with Royal Princess Party. She really wanted a Bounce House again so we found one that was not too expensive, but would be fun enough for all the kids at the party now matter how old they were. Some of the adults even enjoyed themselves in the bounce house.

Laurie was one of the first ones down the slide with Hayley.
Aiden did not waste any time going through the tunnel under the slide, completing the obstacle course and climbing the ladder to the slide. He was so fast and laughed all the time.

Natalie, Wyatt and Hayley getting ready to go through the obstacle course and head for the slide in the bounce house.

Here is
Keagan trying to climb out of the bounce house and his dad, Even, telling him he can not go out that hole, but needs to find the exit.

Hayley was being a sad little birthday girl. She said Alexandra yelled at her when she accidentally stepped on her hair when she fell. Hayley got her feelings hurt, but I bet Alexandra's head hurt more.

Here is Alexandra looking much better and waiting once again for me to get out of the way so she could bounce. I guess the pictures will have to wait.

Katie is home from College at
UC Davis for a few days and Laurie goes back to
UC Davis on Sunday, Sept 14. They were our oldest kids and at the same time our youngest adults. I decided that they should get their own Princess
Goodie Bag right along with the little girls.

Thankfully Cousin Scott was able to jump out of an Airplane in the morning and make it to Hayley's party in the afternoon with Vanessa, Dylan and Wyatt.
Let's Open Presents...

John, Diane, Katy, Laurie and Scott bought Hayley a shopping cart with food boxes and a cute outfit. It had brown pants and a white shirt with different color flowers.

Steve, Tammy, Alexandra and Xavier gave Hayley a Baby Doll that came with a Doll Stroller and a huge purple ball for the backyard.

Scott, Vanessa, Dylan, Wyatt and Baby (due in November) gave Hayley some very cute clothes. She got a shirt, a short/shirt set, a skirt with matching shirt, pants, and this pretty dress.

Auntie Karen bought some shirts and hair ties for Hayley and put them in this Princess Cat gift box. She had already given her the dress she wore on her first day of Preschool which was her actual birthday.

Karen also bought Hayley a Flat Screen Lite Bright.

Evan, Devon,
Aiden and
Keagan found a Princess Puppy for Hayley. It even comes with clothes and a carrying bag. How cool.

Jennifer bought Hayley a really fun book of Paper Dolls. There are lots of people to choose from and tons of outfits to dress them in. What a neat idea.

While Hayley was opening her gift from Jennifer, I noticed someone watching from inside the house and in Hayley's bedroom.

It was Xavier.

Doug, Megan, Nick and Natalie gave Hayley a My Little Pony pant and shirt outfit and the Pots and Pan set you see above. When her new kitchen is finally delivered she will have such fun playing chef. Maybe Natalie and Nick will come to Hayley house (her room) for pretend dinner.

Hayley was extremely excited when she opened her last gift. It was from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa
Krauss and contained a crisp $5 bill. They also gave her a US Savings bond.

Great-Uncle Jim taking in the sun as the presents are being opened.

Tammy watching Hayley open her gifts. Tammy had a good time in the
bounce house with the kids.
Now for some Cake...

Here is Sean on Friday night decorating the cake for Hayley. She told him she wanted the Princesses on the cake and he did that for her. Just in case you were wondering what Sean is listening to on the headphones, it is the new
Metallica CD. I thought it was funny to see him decorating the cake and rocking out to
Metallica.

Here is the cake Sean decorated. Since Ariel is Hayley's favorite she was the most prominent on the cake. It is a bit hard to see but Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella are on the cake as well. The blue boxes were the
goodie boxes for the boys who came to the party and the Princess Bags were for the girls, of course. As you can tell we had way more boys than girls at our Princess and Prince Party. The boxes that look like a cake were what we gave the adults. Each slice of cake contained some
Starburst, a party blower and a personalized pack of gum with pictures of Hayley on them.

Hayley had 5 candles this year. She wanted the purple and pink crooked ones and one with the the number 4 on it. She was able to blow out all the candles with on breath.
Keagan was so fun to watch eat his cake. He had such great facial expressions and kept saying, "Cake."

After most of the kids had gone home, these four were still playing in the bounce house. What you don't see in this picture is that Sean is standing to the right of the slide and jump as high as he can causing Trevor,
Keagan, Hayley and
Aiden to literally bounce down the slide. It was fun to watch and I know the kids had fun doing it.

Katy proudly wearing her Princess Tiara that came in her Princess
Goodie Bag. Now isn't she glad we didn't give her one of the cake slices.
Keagan being brave and letting Sean put his tattoo on. He wanted the dragon on his arm. He was so proud of it and walked around with his shirt sleeve rolled up.

Hayley received a pair of roller skates from Grandma and Grandpa
Roletto and wanted to try them out. She kept falling so Auntie Karen decided to strap pillows to her bum so she would not hurt herself when she fell.
Thank you to everyone who was able to be with us as we celebrated Hayley's birthday. We had a wonderful time and could tell by the smiles on the kids faces that they did as well. A special Thank You also goes to those who could not be here, but sent their warm wishes and love to Hayley. It was appreciated.
