The Princess Party and Snow White

On Sunday Hayley and I went to her friend Katie's house for a Princess Party. Katie's favorite Princess is Snow White and thankfully Hayley still had her Snow White dress from Halloween 2 years ago. Hayley picked out a Snow White Barbie Doll and a 7 Dwarfs Play Set for Katie's gift and put them both in this cool 3D Castle gift bag. Well, the 3D castle is hard to see in this picture, but believe me it was cool.

Here is Hayley and Katie doing their curtsy for the camera. The whole backyard was decorated with Snow White, the 7 Dwarfs, castles, red apples, and magic mirrors. It was a sunny day and the party turned out great.

They even had a horse for the guests to ride.

The girls were going crazy for this Octopus Merry-Go-Round. At one point they had 8 little girls on this with two kids pushing/spinning them. It was very noisy, but fun to watch.

One of the times Hayley was pushing she fell in the rocks, but got right back up and started spinning the girls again. Landing in the rocks did not seem to faze any of the kids.

Getting ready for Snow White's Forest Friends to show up.

Katie's parents asked someone from Sulfur Creek Park in Hayward to come and bring some animals for the kids to see and learn about. The first animal she showed the kids was the owl. They were not able to touch the owl, but did get to touch the other animals.

Next up was Lola the Chinchilla.
The animal lady made two trips around the circle of kids with Lola. I did not get to pet her, but Hayley said she was so soft. When Sean was younger his family had chinchillas.

She also brought a rabbit, but both Hayley and I forgot the rabbit's name. Hayley liked the Chinchilla the best because of how soft she was. I did get to pet the rabbit.

She even got to pet a Dove. The animal lady showed the kids how the dove doesn't get wet when water is on its wings, but that the water slides right off like a raincoat.

There were 35 kids at the party.
Most of the girls were dressed as Princesses, Fairies, or Ballerinas.
A few of the boys even dressed up as Princes.

Here is our Little Snow White.
Hayley kept telling me she was the light haired Snow White not the dark haired one.

Hayley was totally amazed that "Snow White from Disneyland" came to Katie's party. She kept staring at her even after she was able to get her picture taken with Snow White.
Hayley had so much fun at Katie's party.
