Hayley's Preschool Trick-or-Treat

Since Hayley, I mean Alice in Wonderland, only goes to Preschool Monday to Thursday, she had her Trick-or-Treat party yesterday. I was lucky enough to be helper in her class and see all the festivities.

Hayley and the Red Power Ranger, John Paul, got to be the leaders for the parade because John Paul's Dad and I were the helpers. They both were so excited to be the leaders for the Trick-or-Treat time. Here is her whole class, all 14 of them. She started the school year with 11, but have got 3 new students in the last week. 7 boys and 7 girls, now that does not happen often. I think when Trevor was in Preschool it was more like 60% girls and 40% boys.

The teacher gave several of the workers at the Sillman Center when Hayley goes to Preschool a bowl of candy and asked them to hand it out when the kids came by. They went to about 6 different stations (people) and then walked outside and around to the other front door.

Hayley was so polite when she got her candy. It was nice to see the little ones being so sweet and not running or cutting in line. Not like our normal Halloween nights when the bigger kids push and shove their way in front of the littler ones.

Normally after the kids walked around the Sillman Center gathering candy, they go outside in their playground area to get even more candy. This year however, it was raining enough that we had to "hide" the candy in one of the meeting rooms. We moved tables and chairs and put the candy anywhere and everywhere.

Although the this is blurry, I thought the way Hayley got the candy from the top of the table was funny. Notice both feet are off the floor.

Here she is picking up the candy that was under the table. Her bag was so full that she actually had to stop picking up candy.

After all the fun it was time for the kids to go home with their parents. Hayley was so impressed with her candy bag. I tried to get her to look up for a picture, but she just kept staring at the bag. Her teaches even gave the kids a little treat bag that included a pencil, eraser, stickers and candy.

This is what happened on the 15 minute care ride home. Alice was all tuckered out from her gallivanting around the Sillman Center. Although Hayley found tons of candy, she never did find that little white Rabbit she was chasing.
