Saturday, March 14 was Opening Day for Trevor's Baseball League. Trevor is in Farms/Minor B this year and Sean is his coach. Their team is the Angels and besides Trevor there are 5 kids who were on Trevor's team last year, 2 who played in Farms/Minor B last year, and 5 who have never played at all before. Watching the kids practice I know this will be a good year. The kids who have never played before don't show it at all.
Last year I was able to take more pictures because I wasn't the Team Mom. This year I was on the field with the kids for the parade and when they announced the players. It was nice to be on the other side this year and be apart of the festivities instead of just watching from the stands.
After the Opening Day stuff was done I tried to get a good picture of Trevor and Nick. Well, tried was the key word. When I asked them to smile this is what I got.
Thankfully, we have the digital camera and could tell right away it was not the best picture of them. It is much nicer than the old 35mm cameras where you think you have a good picture until the film is developed. Second picture is definitely the better one.
