On Saturday, May 5 we went to Disney's MGM Studios. This park is really cool because you feel like you are on a movie set just about anywhere. They had an animation studio when you could learn about how animated movies are made. We learned about how the dragon,
Mushu, was created and how he came to look the way he did.

Trevor was really looking forward to going on the Tower of Terror with Dad and Grandpa. He has been on the one in Disney California Adventure before and thought this would be just as fun. Well, in this one the elevator car you are in actually leaves the elevator shaft and moves down the hall before the doors open and you drop. And Drop, and drop. He also did not tighten his seat belt as much as he should (could) have and so with every drop he lifted out of his seat a bit more that he cared for. When he got off and I asked if he wanted to go again with me he said, "I liked it, but don't need to do it again."

Some of the street signs on the
Backlot Tour. My mom took these pictures and says she told me about them while we were standing under them, but I don't recall any of that. I am glad she took the pictures though.

The Famous Disney MGM Studios Water Tower, 10 points if you can guess it's name.....(The Earful Tower). We were on the
Backlot tour when we saw this and were not able to get a better picture.
Backlot tour: The first thing to happen was our car came to a stop. Then the fire started at the back of the
tanker truck.

Then the water started heading down the hill towards the car we were in. I should say that Trevor is sitting on the side closest
to the tanker truck with me next to him.

Next thing
we know we are covering ourselves and the camera as the water gushes over the top of the car we are in. It was coming from everywhere.

The aftermath. Trevor and I did get wet, but not too bad. It was really fun to see the reaction on Trevor's face as the fire started and then the waster appeared. Sean and I had seen this is 2000, but did not tell Trevor what would happen. The tour guide only told those on the tour that the right side of the car
would get wet and the left side would get soaked. We were on the left side.

Here is a Costume Shop located at Disney MGM Studios. There we really people working in the shop, but we did not
capture them on film. It was neat to see the costumes hanging on the walls and mannequins.

These are the bone cages the guys from Pirates of the Caribbean were hanging in. They look really gross up close because you can see all the skulls and bones used to make them.
The motorcycles from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Movie.

Walt Disney's own private plane. Sorry that the tree is in the way. We took the picture from another angle on our way back around the tour, but can't seem to find it. The camera must have lost the picture. Well that is our story anyways.

One of Hayley's favorite Disney Channel characters is Jo Jo, from Jo Jo's Circus. We didn't even know Jo Jo was at this park until we turned the corner and there she was.

Cute Grandpa and
grand kids picture.

Action!

A
Sorcerer Mickey Topiary.

A Mickey Mouse Water Tower.

Hayley really enjoyed wearing her Tinker Bell Hat. We just wish we would have known that before we bought her a different one the first night we got to Florida.

One of the things Trevor enjoyed getting the most was a non-digital
watch. We had told him that when he could tell time on a non-digital watch he could have one. So we came through on our promise and bought him a Buzz
Lightyear watch. He was so excited and impressed that every so often he would ask us to ask him what time it was. We are very proud of him for learning to tell time.

This AT-AT is guarding the entrance to Star Tours. Trevor, Sean and Grandpa went on this. Trevor really likes this ride at Disneyland and wanted to see if this one was different or not. He says not!

While the boys went on the ride Hayley and Mom went shopping and she bought this Princess Minnie. She is showing you how Minnie matches her tattoo.

After shopping Hayley wanted to be "shot by the AT-AT." She would not even put Minnie down to play. I just wish the boy in the shorts would have realized that I was trying to take pictures of this cute little girl being shot by the AT-AT.

This is one of my favourite pictures we took. I think it turned out really well and it is so cute that Trevor has his arm around Hayley. What a sweet brother.

At lunch Hayley fell asleep and this is how she ended up in the stroller when we set her down. She slept like this for about 45
minutes and then was ready to go.

The Power Rangers were even there. We were not able to get Trevor's picture with them, but I was able to take this one in between the other kids who waited in line. Sorry Trevor.

This is the coolest car. It played very loud music and drove the Power Rangers around the park.

The kids being silly while we wait for Dad and Grandpa to come out of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt
Spectacular. Trevor and Hayley wanted to go see the The Voyage of the Little Mermaid Show instead, so I took them there.

We thought it would be cute to put the Tinker Bell Mickey Ears on Sean,
especially since he had this shirt on. He was a trooper.

We watched the Lights, Motors, Action! Live Stunt Show in a huge stadium. It was so big, but the show was well worth the climb to our seats. The red car is the Hero car and the black cars are the bad guys. these cars moved very fast, very close to each other and spun around a lot. The even drove backwards so fast you thought they would crash. The Director of the show told us not to worry about the backwards driving as the car is not really being driven backwards. The have modified the car so that the driving and steering wheel face the back of the car and drive forward. From our view the car is moving backwards, but he is going forwards. Who would have known.

This stunt guy crash his motorcycle and went through spilled gasoline. He ran around for a bit before the safety team put the fire out. It was so cool to see, but it worried Trevor.

This was such and exciting stunt show to watch. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it did.

It was so funny to see this car just split in half. The driver of the car put it back together without even getting out of the car or having anyone else help him.

The Final Stunt of the Day. I missed getting the shot of the actual car coming out of the building, but I
did manage to get the explosion.

At Disney World the Fantasmic Show is at Disney MGM Studios in a ampitheater which seats 1500 people. It was so amazing to see this show without having to sit on the hard concrete ground for 2 hours before show time. We got to the ampitheater about 7:30 and quickly found seats. Then Sean and my dad went to the snack bar and got us all something to eat. They didn't have trouble getting back to our seats or finding us again. This was such a great way to see Fantasmic. They show started at 9:00 and was just wonderful. Better than the one at Disneyland in my opinion and not just because I didn't have to sit on the ground.

Here you can see how many rows of people there are.
My parents sat about 3 rows from the top and the four of us sat, well...

Do you see the railing at the very front near the water?. Well if you look close enough you can see Sean, Trevor, Hayley and I. With the water shooting up during the show and the winds that night, we got soaked sitting in the front row. The best seats ever, but very wet. I was not able to get any pictures from my camera due to the spraying water, so I am glad my mom was taking them from her seat. I even had to take my glasses off to watch the show. I wish this attraction was presented this way at Disneyland.

Another view. Can you see Dopey? He is my favorite.

After the
Fantasmic Shows both kids fell asleep on the bus on our way back to the hotel. These pictures let you know how exhausted they are and how they can sleep in any position.
