On Tuesday, May 22 we found Trevor and Hayley up to something in the back yard. I of course quickly ran to get the camera.
Trevor and Hayley turned the slide upside down so much that the cross bar keeping it open has bent. Now they have found another way to play with the slide. They keep it closed and pretend it is a boat. They rock it from side to side and do their best not to let it flip over. The grass is the water and they don't want to get wet.
They were not successful in keeping the boat upright. Their boat is now capsizing and they are having trouble stopping it from happening. Oh, no the grass, I mean water.
Trevor is still trying to hang on, but Hayley has given up.
They love this slide/boat. Trevor got this slide for his 2
nd birthday and we are not ready to part with it yet. So, we have ordered the replacement crossbar part. They can still play boat, but now they can also play slide.
