On Friday, May 4 we went to the Magic Kingdom. For those of you who don't know this park is very much like Disneyland, but with some added items and some missing items. For example, Disneyland has the Indiana Jones Ride, but Magic Kingdom does not. It's a Small World is also different as you wait in line inside a building whereas at Disneyland you are outside. Magic Kingdom has the Country Bears Jamboree, but Disneyland does not.

Magic Kingdom has a dance show that happens several times during the day at the base of Cinderella's Castle. Disneyland does not have a dance show nor Cinderella's Castle. They have Sleeping Beauty's Castle. For the Year of a Million Dreams Celebration lucky guests could win a nights stay inside a suite in Cinderella's Castle. We did not win, but thanks for asking.
The cool entrance to Tomorrowland. Magic Kingdom has the Tomorrowland Transportation Authority (People Mover) ride, but Disneyland does not.
Trevor and Sean on the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. Trevor loves the cars at Disneyland and had to make sure to take a spin around the track while in Florida.
Watch Out! Even Hayley got to go for a ride around the track.
Hayley's first Roller Coaster: The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm. She loved this ride and even requested to go on it several more times.
The pumpkins outside of Mickey's House. Out back is the Judge's Tent, where he is at.

At the Magic Kingdom Mickey is not in his house, but in the Judge's Tent out back. Hayley was able to give Mickey and hug and a kiss on his nose.
After leaving ToonTown Fair we went to see Mickey's Philharmagic. They gave us these "Opera Glasses" so we could see the show better.
Next it was on to It's a Small World.

It was so neat watching the expressions on the kids faces as we rode this ride.

Trevor's other favorite ride is Splash Mountain. Even Grandma and Grandpa went on this one.
We went back to the hotel so the grandparents and kids could rest a bit. Really only Hayley took a nap and she could have done that in the stroller. Oh well. This is how Hayley fell asleep. We though it was funny so we had to get the camera.
After our rest period we went back to Magic Kingdom for the Fireworks. I took this picture this low so you could see the castle as well as Sean and Grandpa Jeff. Sean is the one wearing the Blue Disneyland T-shirt.

End of the day shot. Check out the actual fireworks in the other entry.

We came back to the Magic Kingdom on Sunday, May 6. This time we made sure to get a picture of Walt and Mickey. "...Remember it was all started by a mouse."
This is how Sean wears Mickey's Ears.

Hayley was chosen to be in the Woody Round-up Parade in Frontierland. Trevor could have been in it as well, but he was not feeling good at the time.
Trevor, Hayley and Mom went on Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride (not at Disneyland either). Well, I am taking the picture and then I will go on the ride.
All Hayley wanted to do all day was see Minnie Mouse. We are not able to do it the first day we were here, but she saw her today. Minnie is not in her house like at Disneyland, but instead at the Fair with the other characters.

She loved visiting Pluto. We think this is her favorite Disney Character. She even got a Baby Pluto at Downtown Disney.

She had fun goofing around with Goofy. He even gave her a noogie on her head.
Trevor has discovered that his favorite Disney Character is Donald Duck.
He only wanted to see Donald, but...
Grandpa had him take his picture with Daisy Duck also.

Inside ToonTown Fair was Pete's Painting Garage. This is where they paint faces not cars. Well, come to think it we never asked for them to paint a car, so maybe they do. Huh!
They had to sit very still. Pete's helpers who were painting their faces said to sit still and pretend to be asleep. Trevor did just fine, but Hayley would not stop fluttering her eyelashes. I guess she was getting into character.
As soon as we said yes to getting their faces painted Trevor knew he wanted to be a Dragon. He would not even eat anything until Sean was able to see his face. He started talking differently as to not mess up his face paint.
Hayley wanted to be a butterfly, but all they had was something called Flutterby. They even put glittery lipstick on her.
The face painting ended our trip to the Magic Kingdom. Just after we started heading out of ToonTown Fair towards the front of the park it started to sprinkle. Not the little sprinkle we see in California, but HUGE ones. I told the kids to stay under the canopy of the stroller and for Trevor to keep his hat on. Luckily it did not rain too bad until we got to the Bus stop and under the covered patio.Well, we did not get to leave the park right after leaving ToonTown Fair. The Disney Dreams Come True Parade was heading down Main Street when we reached the Hub. Here are a few pictures of the Parade.
