Little League Day with the Oakland A's

The coach used the money the kids made at Opening Day to purchase the tickets and some food for the Little League Day with the Oakland A's.

Trevor, Nick and Timothy at the Tail Gate B-bque before the parade around the field.

Sean, and I along with 3 other parents took these 7 players inside the stadium to walk around the baseball field. Not too many people get to do this in their lifetime, so we were very excited to go with them. #5 - Nick, #6 - Antonio, #7 - Ajuna, #9 - Trevor, #13 - Timothy, #1 - Tariq and #3 - Erick.

A Coach and his player on the field where the Oakland A's play baseball. This was a exciting experience to be able to walk around the field.

Mom and her little tee baller near home plate. How cool!

Trevor and his very good friend Nick. They are in the same Kindergarten class and were fortunate enough to be on the same baseball team with their other friend and classmate, Erick (not pictured). The guy behind them is a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins.

Here is the view from our seats (section 204, row7) before I zoomed the camera. Not to bad. You are able to see every thing and nothing was blocking tour view.

I zoomed in to get pictures of the Oakland A's up at bat. I was very pleased to see how close we can see when we zoom the camera. Not sure of this batter's name, but it was neat to see the ball he had just hit in the picture.

This is Nick Swisher. He fouled the ball off his own leg and fell to the ground just after I snapped this picture. He ended up getting out on the next pitch.

We left the game right after the 7th Inning Stretch and the singing of "Take me out to the Ball Game" with everyone else in the stadium. It was such a fun day and one that we hope Trevor will always remember.
