Sunday Picnic with the Holtog Family

On Sunday, August 10th we went to Lake Elizabeth in Fremont with the Holtog family, minus son Scott. Here is Katie and Laurie with Trevor and Hayley. This park had 2 soccer games going on while we were there and it was nice that Katie and Laurie played a little bit of soccer with Trevor and Hayley. They used to come here when they were little for their soccer games. That is how John and Diane knew where it was.

The various ways Hayley had fun playing on the bar. She loves to climb and hang upside down. I could have taken pictures of her on the bar all day and made a funny slide show.

Trevor found some monkey bars things to swing across on. These were harder than the normal monkey bars because they were just circles and they were spread too far apart in my opinion.
Not sure why, but Hayley thought hanging from the side railing was fun. She kept doing this over and over again and had a different smile each time.

While talking with John, Diane, Katie and Laurie I noticed the kids sitting on the swings. What caught my eye was that they were not swinging, but rather sitting there talking. It was very sweet.
Trevor really likes this type of bar to play on and is very happy that his school playground has one. At first Trevor did not see that I was taking his picture, but then he saw what I was doing and did this....

"Look Ma no hands."
