Cocoa Beach Florida

On Friday, January 8 we took a ride to the Atlantic Ocean, Cocoa Beach to be exact.

Just about to go over the walkway to the beach. Sean was not planning to go in the water as he had already been to the Atlantic Ocean, but me and the kids weren't missing our chance at putting our feet in.

Trevor was a bit nervous, but then let the water hit his feet. The water was COLD!

It was only about 50 degrees outside so we did our best not to go too far in the ocean. I was amazed at the water though. I had always heard that the Atlantic Ocean is warmer than the Pacific Ocean. I was not expecting it to be the same. Maybe January is not the month to compare the temps.

Gary and Terry with the Cocoa Beach Pier off in the distance. Not as pretty as the Huntington Beach Pier they used to live near, but nice just the same.

Trevor getting braver and braver with letting the water hit him. He was mad when we told him we were leaving after only about 20 minutes at the beach. It was cold and we needed to move on. Sorry guy.
