On Monday, January 4 we went to Universal Studios Florida. We have all been to the one in Southern California, but none of us had been to this one, so it was a first for all of us.

Sean and the kids going through the line to our first attraction of the day.

That's right,
Shrek 4D. It is similar style to "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" or "It's Tough to be a Bug", but all about
Shrek, Princess Fiona and Lord
Farquaard.

I didn't want to have to buy the outfits, so the kids did me a favor and just held them up for the picture. I really wanted Sean and I in the picture too since they had Thing 3 and Thing 4 shirts too, but since Sean didn't want to do that we made the kids Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Sean had found a few pictures about the Jaws attraction online before we came to Florida and Hayley was so excited to be able to see Jaws. Once in Florida she got a map of Universal Studios at the van rental place and kept showing it to everyone saying this was the ride she wanted to go on.

After Jaws we headed over to the Men in Black ride. It had a little bit of a line, but we are all psyched for the ride as Sean had heard very good things about it online.

To our dismay the ride broke down while we were in line and they had to have all the guest exit the queue. We ended up not being able to go back for a while after it was fixed and by then the wait time was 60 minutes. None of us wanted to wait that long at the end of the day so we will have to do it next time for sure.

The Blues Brothers were driving all over the place.

Just to have you know I was this picture with the kids and I can home with our camera. The last time I was in one of the pictures I left the camera and my backpack on the Pirates of the Caribbean and no one turned it in. I guess times are a changing.

The kids insisted on having the sour powder from the candy store. We allowed them to pick out their flavors and then watched as they made the funniest faces. What good parents we are for taking these funny pictures so we can share them with girlfriends and boyfriends when the kids are older.

No we are not back in San Francisco, this was an area inside Universal Studios.

Sean, Trevor, and Hayley go Back to the Future.

This is called the Rip Rocket Roller Coaster. We were planning to go on this, but Trevor was a bit scared and then when he felt okay to go the line was too long. This roller coaster allows you to pick the music you will listen to during the ride. We had checked online to see which song we would picked, but unfortunately never got to ride.

We had to get this picture as we left the park. Not sure why I didn't get one on the way in, but it does look much cooler at night with the lights.
