A very special lady at church used her own Birthday money received from our congregation when she turned 90 years old to purchase some fabric. Well, she didn't stop there. She enlisted the help of another amazing lady and together they put their talent to work.
This was the end result. Together Lu Scott and Millie Bowman made about 25 blankets for the children at our church. They brought them to church and let each child pick whichever one they wanted. Trevor was able to get a frog one and Hayley a Ballerina one. They kids were so excited for their new blankets. My favorite part was not the smiles on the kids faces, but the glowing smiles and excitement on Millie and Lu's faces as they watched the kids chose a blanket. What special ladies God has blessed the World with.
