Old Photos- Adrenwood Farm

VERY LATE POST (sorry)

On February 20, Hayley and I were invited by James, Aiden, Keagan, Ethan and Andrew to go to Ardenwood Historical Farm in Fremont. We have been there before to pick out our pumpkin, but never inside the actual farm. This was going to be a fun day. The only thing that could have ruined a Day at the Farm was the rain. But God allowed the rain to stop just about 2 hours before we were to meet. The sun dried up a lot of the water and the visit was on.

Here is Hayley chasing James and Aiden chasing Hayley. James He has been to the Farm before and was going on ahead of everyone else.

Hayley has captured James near the picnic tables.

Yikes! He got away again. Aiden and Hayley are doing their best not to let him get too far.

After catching James, Aiden made a great discovery. This giant puddle. He ran through it a few times and then Little Miss Hayley decided to give it a try. Too bad I did not have the video on because as Hayley ran through she slid and landed on her bottom. I warned her that she was going to get wet and I would not change her clothes, but she didn't believe me until her bottom was soaked.

It was so cute to see all the baby goats. They would come right up to the fence when the kids would talk to them. We were not allowed to feed them though.

Not to sure why Hayley just didn't look between the fence slats. Maybe the view is better from from the top.

I was watching James play in a puddle and when I turned around I found Hayley playing so nicely in the pile of...

Well, the picture speaks for itself.

I like this picture because you can see different levels of climbing. Hayley and Aiden at the top, Keagan at the bottom and Andrew trying to find someone to take his drink so he, too can climb.

Notice of high Hayley is in this picture. She was trying to sit on the pole at the corner of the fence. Such a crazy and adventurous little girl.

Once again they climb. Notice their wet bottoms. They both had so much fun in EVERY puddle they found.

Here are Hayley and Aiden kicking the side of the chicken cage. Not the nicest thing to be doing, but of the fun they both had.

After kicking the cage of the chickens Hayley found a tree to climb. This one is her size, but not very strong. She did not like it when I told her to get off the tree or it would fall over.

I found a different tree for her to climb (okay I put her in it for the picture). She thought it was very cool to be up so high.

Aiden and Hayley found this house, I mean roof in the Garden area and thought it would be fun to jump off. At least it is not a house on a real roof, but in years to come we might find them up on that as well. Notice Keagan trying so hard to climb on top with the "Big Kids."

Here is the Ardenwood Farm Crew (minus Ethan who did not want to be in the picture).
Hayley holding James (of course), Andrew in the middle, and Keagan and next to Andrew.

Hayley found this tree that was leaning over. I think she figured it would be easy to climb. She just kept slipping down and not really climbing.

Aiden and Hayley found yet another tree to climb.

Well, Aiden helped find but Hayley decided to climb it. It is hard to see, but she does have her tongue out which does in fact help you climb better . At least that is what Hayley said when asked.

She really didn't move up the tree, but she has a great time pretending she was actually climbing.

Just before leaving the Farm the kids, decided to play in the puddle on last time. Notice how wet their jeans are. They had such a goof time at the farm and played very well together.
