Sean was able to take this before we left for church on Easter, but he did have one thing working against him: THE SUN! Notice Trevor's eyes. He is having to squint quite a bit.

Our church held a Easter Egg Hunt between the 2 services. There were candy-filled eggs hidden all over the playground area for those under 4 and eggs all over the grass/tree area for the bigger kids.

Once the Youth Pastor (Don) gave the go ahead the big kids took off running. Some of them ran so fast their feet couldn't keep up. It was a bit funny, but thankfully no one got hurt. Trevor was smart, he did not run to the end of the field like the other kids. He started picking up eggs just as soon as he got onto the grass area.

Hayley was having such fun picking up different colored eggs. Each time she picked one up she had to say what color the egg was.

We made her stop collecting eggs when her basket was half full. She then started to help James and the other kids younger than her.

Trevor found the egg with the golden coin in it and won the Big Prize: a huge Easter Basket from the Youth Group. He was so surprised that he found the coin and more so that he won such a big prize. The basket was full of art supplies and some candy.

We bought this dress for Hayley last May in Disney World and luckily it still fit her this year for Easter. She is growing taller and most of her dresses are getting too short. She is very much a tomboy, but loves to dress "pretty" as she puts it.
