Saturday, March 15 was Opening Day for Tennyson Little League. The kids were all excited, the games were decided on for the carnival, the prizes were all purchased, and it was raining like crazy. Just 2 hours before the event was to start is was still raining pretty hard. Was Opening Day Ceremonies to go on or would they be canceled...
It turned out to be very cold, but sunny and overcast at times. The grass was wet but tolerable.

This is the 2008 T-Ball A's, well 8 of the 12 any way.

They had a parade from the parking lot to the baseball field. They were the second team in the parade. Trevor and his good friend Nick were the last in line. Trevor is the one with his hand on his face, not sure why though.

Here they are rounding the outfield on their way to 1st base to line up for introductions.

The A's on the pitching mound listening as their coach announces their name. Last year they ran under the banner when they were announce, but this year they just stood there.

Trevor with his good friends Nick and Erick. They were all on the Devil Rays together last year and now this year with the A's.

The A's were in charge of game booth at the Opening Day Carnival. We had the "Pick-A-Duckie Game and the Baseball Game. Each duck had a different color on the bottom which determined which prize the player won. Here is Erick and Nick working in our booth. Nick was in charge of collecting the tickets and Erick was in charge of the duckie game.

Trevor was in charge of handing out the little baseballs for those who paid to play the Baseball Game. Each hole on the Baseball game had point value and the more points you have the bigger the prize the player received. All three boys did such a good job of helping that they were able to take a prize as a Thank You.

Hayley won these glasses playing a game and so we had to get a picture of how cute she looked. Yet another picture for when she starts dating.

We even have one for when Trevor starts dating.
The 1st game is on Tuesday, March 18. Check back for pictures then.
