Trevor Johnson hit his 1st HOME RUN!!

Sorry no picture of the at bat, but the hit was so hard that it went way into the outfield over the heads of all the players. No one expected it, not even Trevor. Usually if someone gets a home run in T-ball it is due to player error and over throws, but not tonight. Trevor hit the ball so hard every one, including the other team was cheering for him. It was so neat to see his face as he ran the bases. He knew he did a great thing.

Trevor's team, the A's, were the Home team tonight.

Here they are just before going to bat in the 1st inning.

Although Trevor plays T-ball the coach pitches to all the kids. This was they can learn how to hit the ball without the use of the tee. The other coaches will have to do this during the second half of the season, but Trevor's team is doing it the whole season.

If the kids can not hit a pitched ball, then they hit it off the tee. For some reason tonight, on Trevor's first-at-bat he did not hit the pitched ball. He did however hit the ball from the tee really well.

We have noticed that when Trevor is placed in the outfield, he tends not to focus on the game. Tonight was special as he got to be the pitcher. Most of the balls go to the pitcher in T-ball so he was kept quite active. He was having fun stopping the ball and then throwing it to either 1st base or home plate.

It took a while to get a good shot of Trevor throwing the ball.

This picture was the funniest I took all night. The boy in the Giants uniform was on First base until his teammate hit the ball. Well, he should have run to second base and tried not to get tagged out. He did not do that though. Instead he ran after the ball and then proceeded to fight our player, Jada, for the ball. Once he got the ball from her he began to run around the field not letting anyone take the ball from him. T-ball is such a funny sport to watch.

After the game the kids all like to run the bases. Of course, Trevor had to wave to Mom!

Since Hayley and Mom get to snack during the game, Trevor and Sean have their snacks (aka Nachos) after the game.
