Trevor has been on the ATV in the past and has a great crash story to share with his friends from when he was just 3 years old and touched the throttle while riding with Grammy. When Grammy tried to move his finger from the throttle he locked his arm and they ended up going too fast, hitting the side of the barn and flipping the ATV onto a barbed wire fence. He rode with Grammy the last time we were in South Dakota, but on this visit he did not have the chance to ride with Grammy. He went with Dad instead.
This was Hayley's first time on an ATV. She had so much fun just sitting and pretending to drive. When I took this picture I did not realize the ATV was actually on. I just thought I was hearing the engine from the one Trevor and Sean were on, but when I got closer to Hayley I realized her ATV was the one I was hearing. I took her off and she had to wait for her driver to be ready.
Papa Bear and Hayley went for their first ride. She had so much fun, but also tried to touch the throttle. Luckily they only hit the back end of the ATV Trevor and Sean were on. No injuries in this crash (rear end).
Papa Bear took Trevor for a ride on the lawnmower and then let him ride it alone. I was a bit worried about this, but the blades were in the off mode.
Trevor was doing a great job of steering the riding lawnmower, but kept going too fast. Papa Bear kept yelling, "slow down, slow down."
Hayley got to ride with Grammy on the ATV. They just went around the house and driveway area, but still had great fun.
