Last summer Trevor found a water slide he wanted at Toys R Us that cost $99. Since that is way too much money for us to spend we did not buy it and instead bought a small slip 'n slide for them to play on. Well, by the end of summer we were back at Toys R Us and saw the same water slide Trevor had wanted on a rack that said $10. Sean took the water slide to the price scanner to see if the price was real and came back and said, "we can not get this water slide for $10." The kids were okay with that and went to put it back on the shelf when Sean continued to say, "it is only $8." Well of course we bought it and put it away for this summer.
The slide was much smaller than we thought from looking at the box, but the kids still had fun on it anyway.
After a few tries down the slide the traditional way on their bottom, Trevor and Hayley tried their stomachs and back. It was fun watching them be so silly.
On Wednesday Trevor and Hayley invited their friends, brother and sister Nick and Natalie over to pay on the slide with them. The four kids had a great time together and all said we have to do this again very soon.
Hayley was trying to go down the slide, but she was too close to the edge and knocked the slide right over. It needed more air and could have been tied down, but we forgot that part. Hayley thought it was funny and tried to get it to happen each time she got on the slide.
After playing the in the water for over a hour, it was bike riding time. It is hard for Trevor to ride in the backyard because once he gets started he has to turn again. He is not able to ride on our grass so he stays on the patio. We just move all the toys and b-bque of the patio and they ride. Sometimes they have to take turns on the patio as Hayley ride much slower than Trevor and causes him to fall.
