Magic Mountian Park at Coyote Point

Check out the slide at this park. Our friend Don told us about this park many many months ago and the kids were just able to go there last Wednesday. I had to work, so Sean and the kids went. It is in San Mateo, but very worth the drive.

What a silly climbing thing for the kids.

Trevor on his way up to the top of the slide. What a climb it was for them.

Ready...

Set...

Away he goes.

Trevor looking back at the slide in amazement. Towards the top of the slide there is a sharp turn and Trevor said he hit it so hard he almost flipped over. He looks like he came out the bottom okay though.

Here comes Hayley. Yikes, Dad, that was a big climb.

Bye Bye Girl. See you at the bottom.

Okay, so this was taken on her second trip down the slide. Sean was not that fast.

View of the top from the ground. That is a very tall slide, but what a great view if you climb all the way to the top.

Hayley trying out one of the smaller slides. Still fun, but not as much as the 3-story one.

They had all sorts of climbing things.
Here are monkey bars that were a semi circle.

Then there was the crooked ones.

Followed by the ones you can only do from the top. Or so our little Hayley thinks. Even though she can do them the right way, she is always climbing on top of Monkey Bars and climbing across. She is so crazy.

A rock wall. How cool is that?

Trevor looks like he is about to take off in the shuttle.
10, 9, 8, 7...

Notice the guy in the blue sweatshirt. He brought with him to the park about 80 kids from the local Church Day Camp. While Hayley, Trevor and Sean were sitting on the lawn quietly enjoying their lunch they saw this huge group of kids walk from out of nowhere across the lawn and completely take over the playground.

They were very polite kids and all of them took turns, but needless to say Trevor and Hayley could no longer just walk right up the tower and slide down. They had a bit of a wait.

Just hanging around enjoying the park to themselves again. Luckily for Trevor and Hayley the kids from the church only stayed about 45 minutes.

Hayley loves to swing herself on the regular swings, she likes to "play" on the baby swing.

What a silly girl.
She kept flipping herself backwards. Good thing she didn't fall out on her head.

Just kickin' it.

Very non-traditional ways to get down a 3-story slide.

Trevor took this picture of Sean and Hayley. He did pretty good job, if you ask me.

Can you guess who is holding the camera in this photo?
No, not me. I was at work.

What a funny slide.
All they needed was for Sean to be in the middle lane.

Just some of the other fun stuff this park had for the kids to play on. If you need directions please ask and Sean can give them to you. I can't wait until I can go to Magic Mountain Park with the kids, too.

Coyote Point Park is the best & we just went for the first time last month too. We're thinking about having A.J.'s next birthday there. Glad the kids (all 3 of them) had a great time!! Let me know when you have a chance to make it over again & we can meet you ;) The museum at Coyote Point is really great too.
