Nature Walk

On Friday Sean and the kids took a nature walk. The went to Garin Park in Hayward, just up the hill from Auntie Karen's apartment.

Sean brought along small containers so the kids could collect leaves and other things they found on the walk. Their backpacks held water, notebooks and writing implements. He wanted the kids to write special things they saw or draw pictures of it.

Hayley about to check on the things she picked up along the walk. She could just look through the container, but no she has to open.

Sean and the kids went on the dock to watch the 2 ducks that were nearby. But once the ducks saw them on the dock, they came a swimming.

And finally the whole gang waiting for something. I bet the ducks thought Sean, Trevor and Hayley had bread for them to eat. No such luck though. Sorry.

Since it was such a hot day the kids and Sean at in the back of the Suburban. They planned to sit out in nature, but had a hard time finding a good place in the shade.
